medication confusion please help me!!!!!       12/02/05 04:22 PM Edit Reply Quote LB Reged: 07/23/04 Posts: 15 I really need some advice here. I was doing well for a while, then suddenly every month at the onset ofm y period i develop horrible horrible stomach/uterine/intestinal cramps. this lasts for the entire time i have my period and i pretty much have difficulty walking, sleeping, etc. I also develop severe constipation. I have prescriptions for bentyl and levsin, also nortriptyline because I started off as IBS-D. Now i'm a combo of both and this new monthly pain thing has set in. I have no idea what to take anymore, or in what order, when, etc. Don't the anti-spasmodics cause C? I also don't know if maybe taking something like Seasonale where I'd only get my period 4 times a year would help. Any advice would be appreciated, I've resorted to taking Vicodin to be able to function at this point. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
