flaxseed (or fish) oil & ibs-d       11/26/05 01:04 PM Edit Reply Quote jaime g Reged: 07/27/05 Posts: 961 Loc: new york city i want to try flaxseed oil for non-ibs reasons (dry skin), but i've heard of it being a laxative. in terms of it being fat, i figure i'll integrate it into *very* low-fat meals - making sure that with the oil, the whole meal is still low-fat and safe. beyond the added fat, is it likely to aggravate my ibs? are there any Ds out there with experience with flaxseed or fish oils?
