Painful constipation, middle of the night

I have functional dyspepsia, and every once in awhile, I wake up with a terrible pain in my lower back near my rear end. I literally eat an apple, grab some raisins, and walk around for a long time just trying to get anything in my stomach to move anywhere. Usually within an hour, finally the position of something changes in my stomach, I get some relief from the pain, and everything is fine. Right now, I was on an anti-depressant for three or four years and am in the process of withdrawal. The anti-depressant was being used as a stomach relaxer (Limbitrol)...I never was diagnosed with depression at all. But I just never quite felt myself and while it helped me sleep, I felt lazy, unmotivated, and like I was missing out on life. I am going to look for a herbal alternative to help my bloating and gas and also to help with headaches and lightheadedness. Anyhow, in regards to these sudden, sharp pains in my lower back upon waking up, what food/medicine should I take to alleviate this problem ASAP? And, is there anything that would prevent this from happening? Thank you.

Steve
