New and really NEED HELP       11/10/05 07:47 AM Edit Reply Quote snuffie Reged: 08/01/04 Posts: 18 Hi I am a "newbie" and am having huge problems with IBS. I have Heather's Book IBS the first year and thought maybe someone here would have some ideas. I have had IBS for about 9 years and it is getting worse and worse. I have had all of the tests ruling out everything else and the only thing the specialist had to offer was taking Miralax every night which upset my stomach. I am trying to avoid things that will upset my intestinal tract and eating soluble fiber first but I had a very bad bout loose stools when I was on antibiotics 2 weeks ago and now I am back to severe constipation (where I go just a tiny amount every couple of minutes and have horrible gassiness in between. I haven't been able to go anywhere and at work I've spent most of the night in the bathroom. I would greatly appreciate ANY ideas! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
