Hello everyone,
I've been reading through this site for a while now and I purchased acacia a few weeks ago and have been incorporating into my day gradually.
I am twenty years old and have had pain as long as I can remember. Horrible C with bouts of D, have looked pregnant a good deal of the time since I was 7 years old, nausea, headaches, muscle spasms, cramps, gasgasgasgas, horrible whining noises, very hypoglycemic, etc. After becoming severely compacted, I went to a GI and had a barium. She said eat more fiber. I tried eliminating gluten from my diet and have been totally gluten free for about 4 months now, I can't even do oats. My GI refused to test me however, since I am primarily C and not D. However, I have shown through diet I have a very strong reaction to it.
Anyhow-- the last few weeks my stomach problems (which had only become bearable, not anywhere near normal) have regressed. I have had intense stabbing pains on the upper left side that then cause swelling and pain all throughout my system. I have been very C but going enough where I doubt i'm impacted (been there!). I am so swollen and its waking me up at night and I've been SO tired and weak, feeling like I'm going to pass out.
I have tried making SF the basis of all meals. The only thing I can think of that could have triggered this is I suddenly discovered the joys of grits and polenta. I started eating cornmeal everyday for breakfast. Does anyone here have a corn intolerance? Any ideas? Suggestions? I have cut corn out as of yesterday and will try this for a couple weeks, but I am a gluten intollerant vegeterian so most of my food has some kind of corn in it. I've been primarily eating congee (overcooked rice), sweet potato, and quinoa for the last couple days.
I'm in bad bad shape and as a full time student I don't have time to lie in bed holding my belly.

Thanks so much!!!!
