That does not sound fun at all! I'm sorry, I have never taken the gallon stuff before.....the first GI doc I went to wanted to do that and I changed doctors because I'm chicken! I have to do the fleet prep on Monday for mine. I hope they get to the bottom of your problems! It sounds like you have everything under the sun according that that other doctor...... Good Luck!
