I was lurking for a bit. My name is Amanda. I have had IBS for 22 years---back when I was diagnosed, it was still called 'spastic colon'. So, I guess I'm an 'old-bie'. LOL. Anyway, I tend to swing back and forth between D & C, but my symptoms have been stable for the past 6 mos. I follow Heather's diet regularly, with a few exceptions. This is the best diet I have found! Luv, ya, Heather! I am co-cl of the IBS board on IVillage, and thought I'd branch out and visit this board. Nice to meet you all!
