I dont remember where I first read this, but the second place I read it was "500 Low-Carb Recipes" by Dana Carpenter. She says(but she doesnt say where she got her info from) "Soy is well known to interfere with thyroid function..." the scary part is, I went to google.com and put soy+thyroid in for my search and got a ton of sites that all say that soy surpresses thyroid function, some say they were based on a FDA report. I didnt have time to read them all, but it certainly is a frightening thought. Perhaps there is a nutritionist or MD out there that knows more about this?? Thanks for your imput, I am getting desperate in the "can't lose weight, can't eat anything" department...LOL Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
