I don't understand. Surely the state you are in now is not good for your long-term health. A six month or whatever course of Immodium could stabilise you so that you never need to take it again AND don't suffer.

Sorry, but it's ridiculous to talk about dying b/c of IBS whilst refusing to do/take things that have a proven track record AND have been proven safe.
