I think when your body is feeling ill, it is fighting in the ways that it can. I think feeling feverish or sweaty are side effects to our body's defenses and our emotions.

I sweat sometimes when I am having an attack.

I just came from the Doctor's today, and I relinquished some of my fear and decided to ask for medicine for symptoms of anxiety/depression/panic. I have never wanted to medicate myself like this.

I had 10 visits to the bathroom this morning before I could even get out of the house. I am determined not to use anything including Immodium. I don't want my body to become a chemical playland.

I am at a point that either I break free of the anxiety and panic and live my life.. or I will literally die. My health, life, and relationships with others suffer because of my IBS.

So, I am going to be taking Lexapro starting tomorrow, and I hope I don't get any of the side effects. One of them is sweating and there is also the nausea. I will take the sweating over nausea any day.

Back to your sweating, I have a hand fan and a little mini-battery powered fan that I use when I am feeling really feverish and sweaty.
