Butter is better, but beware...

If you are still having IBS symptoms, then this product ("LandOLakes" Light Butter with Canola Oil Spread) may be contributing to your symptoms because it clearly contains milk products. (See ingredients at www.landolakes.com/products/ViewProduct.cfm?ProductID=15116)

Milk is a major trigger for IBS. Some people claim they can tolerate it, but it isn't a very good idea especially if you are still having symptoms.

There are quite a few non-dairy butter substitutes available that don't contain milk. Personally I would recommend trying those first. In all conscience, I can't recommend anything containing milk because it is contrary to Heather's diet and I believe generally not a good idea for IBS people.
