I'm guessing "insult to the gut" is what my doctor is refering to. I want to get stool tests, but will it be too late now? It's been like 5 months now, and I am feeling better. But, recently I've had a lot of pain in my upper abdomen, right below my chestbone. It is like heartburn, but I think it's lower. Does anyone know much about stomach ulcers? I know that's not IBS, but I'm confused about what this is all about. One thing is under control, and another starts up! I guess they could be related??? Suggestions welcome as always! Thanks again!
