Diabetes & IBS       09/16/05 07:22 AM Edit Reply Quote Unregistered I would like to hear from anyone dealing with both these conditions or anyone who knows about diabetes. I was diagnosed at the end of August with Diabetes 2 and have been put on to medication straight away. However I am taking it very slowly with the meds because the main side effects are diarrhea, nausea and gas. Am on my 16th day so far, no diarrhea but horrendous gas. I feel rather low because having just spent the past 12 months gaining control and stability with my ibs I now have this to deal with and from what I have investigated on the web it would appear that a lot of Diabetics are on very low carbs.
