It's happend more than once that my brief explanations has led to people introducing me to other people with the same problem who are interested in the diet.
It usualy goes something like this: I bring my own food to an party and someone asks why. I say that I have a stomach disorder and someone usualy presses for more details, (people can be soooo nosey) so I explain that I have food intolerances and if I eat the wrong thing I can't go to the bathroom for a week.... etc. And someone will ask me what I can or can not eat... until eventualy someone will say "I have" or "I have a friend" yadha yadh yadah and then someone else knows about the diet.
