I am taking 50 mg of Amitriptaline nightly. I have been feeling much better! I am eating well and I have began to gain some of the weight back that I lost over the summer. I think the meds have been a huge help. (not to mention the diet) I too am a teacher. I was nervous that my stomach would act up while teaching...but so far so good. I am being cautious of what I eat during the week so not to have a bad tummy. (chicken, rice, grilled veggies, oven fries, rice noodles, veggie burgers, soy ice cream bars, peppermint tea 3x/day, graham crackers, applesauce, pretzels, and oatmeal for breakfast daily).
