I'm taking a vacation day today!!! All to myself!       03/07/03 07:05 AM Edit Reply Quote Nugget Reged: 02/10/03 Posts: 2167 Good morning everyone! Yup, I'm taking a vacation day. I've had it scheduled now for a couple weeks. We get a day off for our birthday and mine was last Sunday...so I am taking today for my birthday day. Just kind of taking it easy and getting things done around the house that I want to do....nothing too exciting, but it's nice to have the day to do it. The only bad thing is that I am supposed to call and make an appointment for a thorasic (sp?) and upper abdominal CT scan with contrast. I am worried that they may have me do some "clean out" prep. The nurse at my docs office tried to assure me that she didn't think that would be necessary, but I'm still nervous. Plus I'm scared to have the contrast injected. My mother-in-law just had that done in November and had a horrible reaction to the iodine. Any words of comfort would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
