When first diagnosed 30 some years ago, I tried a variety of stuff, was scared and confused (panic attacks w/ D) ...I have to say my saving grace thru the years has been lomotil, whether generic or not, taken as needed...worst days 3 or 4, some days none, many days 1 or 1/2 in the morning to calm the anticipation and therefore get thru the day well...when going on a trip...starting the night before... I tolerate it well, w/ little side affects, since my adrenalin is up when I need to take it, it must counteract the tiredness some people feel...I am working w/ several alternative therapies as well to help overcome the panic attacks, including the Hypnotherapy tapes...
