I went to one that was highly recommended by two of my doctors. My airman doc and my general prac. My first visit he diagnosed ibs and prescribed sugar free citrucel. Page 163 of "IBS the first year" no artificial sweeteners!!!!! My worst attack ever several hours later. Extreme pain to the point of almost passing out, D x many, nausea, all for an hour or more. Wish I read the book first. (He must hate dems beaglelover cause this could have done me in.) I'm a newbie with not much to offer but my current stats are Heather 1 / Doc 0. Just a reminder to be cautious. And get second or third opinions.
