Try to get a bit of fat and IF in ever meal. Incorporating fruits and veggies into other things works great and anything that can be pureed is awesome. Just try to stay away from IF foods that cause specific problems until you isolate what works for you. Avoid the gas producing fruits and veggies like cabbage, broccoli and pears, avoid things like onions and avoid whole wheat. Try some of Heather's recipes that are very safe: pureed dips and bread or things like pumpkin bread etc. Put IF fruits in your breakfast cereal.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
