Brenton, Figure me if I've already passed this on to you, but I couldn't remember if I have or not. There is a great article on the web about this subject. It was written by three doctors at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill which has the world's leading research center on IBS. I'm not sure how to pull the link up, but I just type in the title of the article on the web and it comes up. Try that! It's called "The Use of Antidepressants in the Treatment of Irritable Bowel." I printed the entire article the other day and took it by my psychiatrist's office so that I could discuss it with him at the next visit. Good luck!
