Re: Constipation and stress       09/02/03 10:16 PM Edit Reply Quote AlishaAm Reged: 08/28/03 Posts: 6 This used to happen to me during high school when I was a teenager and was developing anxiety disorders (triggered by "dysfunctional family" problems, etc.). I wouldn't -- then couldn't -- go to the bathroom until I got home (alone) from school (where I felt extremely tense all day). Now, I'm almost thirty and struggle with chronic constipation. If I don't "go" before I leave the house, I know that I won't be "going" at all that day. I'm hoping to find a real solution to my anxiety, and to "retrain" my bowel. Good luck to you, too.
