Constipation and stress

Hi, my name is dan and I was diagnosed in January of this year. Currently, I work in the E/R at our local VA hospital primarily as an 'escort'. I run patients up who need xrays, cat scans, or any other transport thats needed. Due to how hectic this environment can be, this has become more of an issue recently. When our department becomes extremely busy & I'm running all over the place, my system tends to become all worked up and I'm incapable of having a bm. This seems to be happening subconsciously and, at times, soon after I come home, I have a bm, but I can't at work. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
