I love Sun Chips too. I've also had good luck with Rold Gold pretzels and once I found a bag of sweet potato potato chips - baked, even! They were delish and I've never seen them since... now it's a personal quest. Also in the "salty-crunchy" area are bagel chips, but not too many at once - just a handful.
But - snacky doesn't have to be salty, does it? I'm finding lately that my favourite snack is sliced pears dipped in chocolate soy pudding - sweet and full of vitamins and protein and fibre!
Maybe some homemade cereal-based party mix with your favourite spices?
