Thanks Judith,

I have Metagenics Ultra Flora Plus (probiotic that is dairy free) here for my son so I might give that a go. I spend my life analysing his diet and never thought to do it for myself! I am slowly going through the website when I have a chance and look forward to a time where I am not living on pain killers and sleeping....

Have you been under a lot of stress over the last 12-18 months and that is why it was worse? I have been speaking to a lot of mums with kids with disabilities this week and the vast majority have the same symptoms that I have. The ones that don't have a child with mild impairments, are financially secure with supportive and helpful friends and family. Makes me wonder if stress plays a huge part in this and changing diet will do nothing if stress levels are addressed.

Sorry, thinking out loud, LOL, I have a habit of doing that!

Kind regards,

Satine

Hi Satine
As an ibs.d sufferer for over 30 years I would suggest that you read through all of Heather's advice on this web site. I have found the advice invaluable and have also added various supplements to my diet and now, after 30 years (particularly bad in the past 12-18months) I am getting some stability.
I take a soluble fiber supplement, a probiotic supplement (Acidopholus) and I try to take Heather's advice on diet but am not 100% (probably 50%!).
Judith
