Hi Artist - thanks for your great reply. I've come across a lot of the same info. It can be really overwhelming! What's good for one thing isn't good for another. The goal is to come up with what is good for both - which just takes some time.... Yep - the kidney stone was a rather unpleasant experience, overnight hospital stay...IVP...pain meds... nausea... the works. Don't care to repeat that EVER! They never found my stone, even though I screened for a while, so I've no way of knowing what type of stone - but it seems most likely that it was calcium oxalate, so I'll avoid high oxalate stuff for now. My main goal for the moment is to get my IBS diet straightened out and worry about adjusting for kidney stones later. I've been bad about water intake lately - I quite simply can't stand it. I tend to get heartburn after drinking it, even when room temp - don't know why, other drinks don't bother me. I do have very mild reflux - so who knows. Anyhow - thanks again for your response. My printer has been working overtime lately, printing out all this good info, and recipes! Here's hoping we never pass another stone
