Wow, I am reading your posts. The good thing is that you know what your problems are and have this forum to help you. I just wanted to say, about the prep, if you get to have the colonoscopic, and I think you should, they should give you a list of clear fluids you will be allowed. It will be easier for you if you eat as much as is comfortable of those foods that you like. It makes you more comfortable after. I was very afraid of the test, and put it off for years, finally my symptoms wouldnt let me put it off any longer. I don't even remember the test now. They gave me medicine and I don't remember anything until the doctor was talking afterwards, & just barely remember that. If you could, ask the gi about a gluten allergy test as well. I wish you luck with everything, I wish I could say something that would help you with your parents. Eighteen is, in my opinion, too young to be out on your own. But I understand.. God Bless
