Wow, what a wonderful thread...       07/05/05 07:25 PM Edit Reply Quote retrograde Reged: 04/15/04 Posts: 1569 I'd totally echo what everyone else has said here but learning to accept, etc. I was thinking the other day how much better I feel about my IBS now, even though it's not necessarily always better than it was, say, a year ago. I've just become better able to cope with it - yes, I've become more stable too, but I don't need to think about it *all* the time. Oh it's always back in the back of my head there somewhere, but it's not my chief concern always any more. I'm not terrified of it, in other words - I know how to deal with it. Anyway, there I go mostly just repeating what others have said but it *really* rings true for me. I think this is such a great thread because this aspect of IBS doesn't really get talked about much, and I think it's really important to both accept and embrace. Thanks for starting this, Anthem!
