You can try to call your doctor because there are some perscription meds that shorten the amount of time you have it. You need to contact him ASAP, however. They are only effective if taken early in the flu. If not, unfortunately all I can advise is rest and fluids. Tylenol for fever and achiness and just a few days in your PJ's.
