Whoe! I thought the Tostitos you find in the supermarket were baked, but maybe not. Well, I don't eat them anyway.
You know, I just thought: in dee old South, they had this charming term for flatulence in women known as "having the vapours". I like that. It sounds so mystical and lovely, doesn't it?
Sorry, honey chile, I have the vapours today and must sequester myself in my bedroom with a romance novel!
Seriously, perhaps statistically Southern Women at that time had more IBS complaints due to the very stereotypical Deep Fried diet of that region? Hmmm....I do think a host of sins were probably easily hidden under those hoop skirts. Now I live in Arizona, but I once lived in a cold climate, and I could hide my silent but deadly discharges under a blanket while snuggling on the couch. Hey, we have to find some humor in this situation, since otherwise I just lean against the wall and cry.
