Yes, I can do silent ones! Lol! But when I'm home alone--I startle the cat. When bf's around, I try to be polite and head to the bathroom; he does the same. Lately, the gas and bloating have been reduced quite a bit; I think it has to do with this diet (reduces amount of gas) and eating soy yogurt (reduces the odor).
Once, when my sister was younger, she farted in the toy aisle at some store. I recognized it as hers right away, silent but deadly, but I didn't say anything. She, however, said, "Okay, someone farted!" trying to pass the blame onto someone else! Good move, I thought.
