SharShar! Glad to hear from you! I am so glad you are feeling better and that your symptoms are settling down. Are you on Heather's diet? My only advice for you is talk to your doc. /OBGYN BEFORE getting pregnant. Address some of the concerns you have. Ask questions. Start taking prenatal vitamins BEFORE you start trying. Some of the questions I had were:
1. What do I do if I can't eat anything?
2. Do you think I should see a nutritionist?
3. How will I give my baby the nutrients it needs to grow if I have difficulty maintaining a balanced diet? (that was my biggest worry right there. Thank God for prenatal vitamins)

Make sure you tell them your symptoms, (dirrarhea or constipation or both?) what you can eat, what you can't, etc. and ask them for their advice.
I don't know the severity of your IBS but if it is moderate to severe, make sure you make that very clear to your doc. My IBS can wax and wane - I can do quite well for a while and then have weeks of attacks. Give them as much information as possible.
I'm glad to hear you are into relaxation techniques. Good for you! I also found walking to be helpful for my stomach and my stress level. Take care, and let me know how you're doing. I was scared, too when I was in your position. Keep your chin up and think positive! Anything else I can do, you know where to find me.
