Lithelady, I found the information very helpful because firstly it validated what I had already believed - that my stomach/bowels were in a very unhealthy condition, contrary to what my old doctor had said.

My new doctor found it interesting and said she would consider it when treating other patients with coeliac who seemed to have problems recovering. Her solution was antibiotics, but of course, this was not for me.

The nutritionist suggested I undertake a course of natural tablets called Paraplex by Othoplex - its a local natural medicine company. I'm presently undertaking the course which is 3 weeks taking the tablets and then having a break for 2 weeks and then taking another 3 week course. At the moment I'm in the break.

I am feeling better - less wind for one thing, and the yeast infection seems less. I've always had the D. I've also had a little success adding back some foods into my diet that were no-no's before, like salmon steaks and eggs with the yolks. I've only had the eggs twice though - still very tentative.

I think we've all felt at the end of our tether and reading books, like Heathers, surfing the net, newsletters, all help us to understand our problems.

Hope you are feeling well,

Best regards,

Bev
