As far as BC pills go, I was on them for a long time (17 years!) and stopped them 1.5 years ago and I didn't notice any change in my IBS one way or the other. Be sure to ask your dr for a monophasic pills instead of a tri-phasic pill. A monophasic pill means that the hormone levels are the same through out the cycle and a tri-phasic pill means that the hormone levels start off stronger and decrease through the cycle. The changes homrones could make your IBs worse and stabilizing your horomones with a monophasic pill may even help with your ibs! -------------------- Taking it one day at a time.....
