Apples, citrus fruits and green beans *I believe* are good sources of pectin, which is a kind of soluble fiber. But the total amount of SF is so small compared to other good SF foods that I wouldn't consider these to be "SF foods" really, with the exception maybe of peeled and cooked apples or applesauce.

I agree with you Sand after reading this article; she makes a comment about how there are lots of strange and random triggers IBSers should watch out for - but everything she lists could be explained by IF or HFCS etc. She's got her own triggers figured out but there are no general rules behind it. Someone should buy her a copy of EFI lol
