It takes a couple of years to get it well established, but once established it grows like a weed and you can pick and dry as much as you need. Get some at a nursery, and just plant some in the corner of a flowerbed in the sun and it will work as a ground cover and take over. I dig up my peppermint and take some everytime we move. It grows everywhere from the desert of western Wyoming to the humidity of Michigan. You cut a bunch of stems and just let them dry naturally then pick off the leaves and store them in an airtight container. Then you just put a few leaves into a teaball and brew. Saves a lot of money, and you can choose a peppermint type that you really like. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
