Heather ... Slippery Elm

Hi Heather!

I have done some reading on Slippery Elm and how it's like a soluable fiber because it also makes a gel in the colon. I also read that it is supposed to help for c&d. Is this true? How much would you use if it does work?

I know that I would still need to follow the IBS diet but I was wondering if this would give extra help. I haven't been able to find out more info on my own and wondered if you have ever used it or heard of it working for anyone.

I am not able to take the soluable fiber supplements so I thought this might help.

Thanks
