Like Ruchie says, sugar is IBS safe, so hopefully you won't be bloated tomorrow. But if you have a problem with bingeing, it's probably better not to keep it in the house, for a while at least. I can eat sugar without any problem for IBS and these days I can eat it in moderation but I used to be a compulsive eater/dieter. That feeling of being out of control around food is so horrible - you will just be a lot more relaxed if you don't have to have fights with yourself about stuff like that when really you want to be concentrating on getting stable.

It seems like it is not the sugar in alcohol that is the problem, but the chemical constituents, plus other ingredients like fruit juice or dairy ...
