Hi Judith,
I don't know if you are on ERT or HRT, but I've been on Premarin for 4 years and have decided to go to natural hormones instead of chemicalized. I was recommended a book I am now reading that offers so much information regarding this and in the book it explains that any type of menopause can be affected by stress and cause problems to those with "inflammatory bowel disorders". The book is Natural Hormone Balance for Women by Uzzi Reiss, MD/OBGYN. It offers a great deal of information that I've never heard discussed by anyone, including my GYN. I hope this helps. Georgia
