Flaxseed (the food, not the oil) is acceptable to some pretty strict authorities though some consider it "kitniyot"; even if considered kitniyot, you cd pbbly get a medical dispensation even if you need it to manage; and NB---I've been finding quinoa to be an incredible substitute for oatmeal, brown rice etc. It tastes pretty good and can be prepared sweet or savory. I'm so grateful to have found it and have some at every meal. I've pretty much been avoiding matzah altogether as it tied my stomach in knots even before I had IBS-C. Good luck!!
