pain at night, can't sleep       04/21/05 12:37 PM Edit Reply Quote zebras Reged: 04/15/05 Posts: 31 Loc: Vermont My 10-year-old son has been sick for six weeks and has been diagnosed with IBS, although I'm a bit skeptical of the diagnosis because he has no C or D, just constant pain (he's had the whole shebang of tests which turned up nothing). His worst pain is in the night; it wakes him up around 1 or 2 AM and he's unable to go back to sleep. We've tried Benadryl, melatonin, a homeopathic insomnia formula, and Percocet. He is currently on Bentyl, peppermint caps, SFS, and Prevacid. Any suggestions for nighttime pain? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
