This is gonna get repetitive tho! Remeber that even tho you might have a higher tolerance to some triggers than other IBS-ers, it is still very important to cut them out until you're stable or you may never get there!
Mine are... - IF. - dairy (although I can now tolerate occasional foods with casein or whey in them). - overeating. - going too long without food. - anything cold (it's take me AGES to eat a teeny portion of soy "ice cream" as I take mini mouthfuls that can melt completely before they leave my mouth!). - artificial sweeteners. - carbonated drinks (although I can now have an occasional beer, I prefer to let even that go flat! ) - MSG (although I can now tolerate occasional foods with it in). - coffee and caffeine (tho caffeine alot less). - REALLY high-fat or greasy foods...I have a much higher tolerance to fat than most IBSers (but kept to very low-fat while I was stabilising).
I don't eat meat and would never had considered eating artificial fats so those aren't on my list. Anything I've missed?
