I'm also going away, and plan to bring granola bars made with oats, rice, and a bit of soy (Nature Valley), as well as Cheerios and small individual tetra packs of rice milk, baked chips of some kind, bananas, peaches (peel to eat), Sourdough bread and avacadoes, carrot sticks to have at the end of a meal, homemade low fat oatmeal cookies, plain melba toast, and baked rice crackers. Things to pick up along the way at farm markets, cafe's, and stores: chicken breast sandwich meat, baked potatoes, steamed rice or sushi, fresh fruit, apple sauce, and hopefully some lowfat, fructose/cornsyrup-free sweet treat! I find that when I travel long distances by car etc, it helps to go for long walks each day or night, in order to stay healthy and have fewer or no attacks. Good luck and have Fun! Kris
