A question about (peeled) apples

I do fine eating (peeled) apples, as per the IBS diet, and often have several in a day with no problem. My question is as follows: Pink Lady apples, (which are delicious), in particular, used to give me tremendous problems (cramping, bloating, stomach all twisted in a knot for hours, then constipation and flatulence) before I knew about the importance of peeling and seeding. I'm scared to try them again but would love to as they are particularly sweet and flavorful, presumably from a higher fructose content. Does anyone know if specific types of apples cause problems, even if they are peeled, or should I be ok? I seem to do fine with Braeburns and Galas. Thanks!
