I have been diagnosed with ibs in the past and recently finally found out it is gastroparesis. I have been given reglan by my gastros in the past but only took it at time. My doctor who overlooks my whole health has prescribed me erythromycin (antibiotic) which is also used for gastroparesis with good results supposedly and it doesn't effect the central nervous system like reglan. I know antibiotics are not good for the stomach but he is not worried about that part and I take a probiotic. Has anyone used this (250mg three times daily)? Any feedback.
