I'm an IBS fainter!       03/24/05 10:23 AM Edit Reply Quote Jennifer Rose Reged: 04/02/03 Posts: 3566 Loc: Fremont, CA I've had that happen many times when I'm having an attack. However, fainting is my primary response to extreme pain and has always been. I now know that if I feel like I'm going to have an attack, I need to get some place safe or let someone know that I am having an attack just in case I faint. Otherwise, I'll have the paramedics leaning over me for something I know is perfectly normal for me. My scariest experience is when I was driving to work and passed out while driving! So please, if you feel like an attack is coming on and you're driving - pull over! And also try to limit that pepperoni pizza and beer if you do have IBS. One way to find out if you have IBS is to have your doctor run some tests to rule out everything else. Either check out Heather's book or poke around the site.
