Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Re: Room spins and I hit the floor

I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago. It was full of stones. They put me on Previcid for acid reflux but these have always been my symptoms. I recently tried eating all broiled/boiled foods and it did seem to help. Of course I was eating all the salads and fresh veggies I could..I ate raw cauliflower last month and thought I would die! I hit the floor then to! About 11 years ago I had an endo and they removed polps but didn't say anything about them other than they were gone...
My aunt has chrones really bad...she has had many surgeries to remove intestines...is this hereditary?
I am scheduled to see my doc again the first part of next month and I am going to insist on the tests for IBS. In the meantime I have been reading and getting recipies off of the posts on this site...it is a wealth of information..
About 4 years ago I had a bout with intestinal bacteria..my doc didn't test me just said that was what I had and gave me meds! My back is killing me..I thought I was having food reactions..especially to pork and pizza but now it seems that it can be anything I eat..very hard to understand and what a life change!
