I am also taking about 1500 mg of calcium a day. I had a bone scan and it showed that my bones are on the verge of flaking. That scared me to death, so now, I take the actonel, calcium and also try to getin a few days of sun absorption every week. They say after following this, in about 18months, I amy be able to get of the actonel. The regression in my bones will be healed. Isn't that wonderful?
