I'm IBS-D, and noticed a small change in the first week, but didn't have a stable week until about 3 months into the diet. (I've now gone and messed that up by drinking tequilla, but that was totally my fault ) What helped me get that stable week - and what I need to do again - was I spent a weekend eating only the "what you can eat when you can't eat anything" foods, like I did at the beginning of starting the diet.
