Here are the details of the Enzymes which were prescribed for me (thank goodness I have a prescription as they cost the eqivalent of about $16 for a pack which lasts me about 3 weeks!)

They are called CREON 25 000u and they contain 300mg of Pancreatin of pork origin(!?)
Amylase - 18 000u
Lipase - 25 000u
Protease - 1 000u
They are made by Solvay pharmaceuticals.

I would not advise anyone to take them without talking about it with your doctor as I was actually diagnosed as having a malabsorption problem. I would also say that they seem to have been a bit constipating for me (I have IBS-D) so maybe they aren't a good idea for those who are IBS-C type.

Bye for now
