My Primary Dr. suggested that I periodically drink a bottle of Magnesium Citrate. Since it can be a bit rough on the stomach, I drink it in portions within a set number of hours so I don't suffer much effects and still get the benefit. The cheapest is at WalMart, next choice would be Target as Walgreen's almost doubles the price. I don't do it very often. When I see my new GI, I'm hoping he might be able to offer me something easier on the stomach. The Magnesium Citrate is very tart but the flavor is tolerable. It's not supposed to be harmful to the body if used under the direction of a Dr.
